On Friday, May 30th from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm, the Los Angeles Black Book Expo in association with its newest sponsor, 626 Art Gallery in Studio B, will host a Book Expo America/LABBX reception. This meet and greet invite is open to authors attending the BEA as well as booksellers, book clubs, and avid readers. Those in attendance will find out the goings on at this year's LABBX and future plans. This kickoff reception is free and open to the public. Food and refreshments served.
Spoken word performances, a ‘He Said, She Said’ relationship forum and more activities are in the works for a memorable evening! If you plan to attend BEA, then please reserve the date of Friday, May 30, 2008 on your calendar. The 626 Art Gallery is in the heart of downtown Los Angeles and minutes away from the L.A. Convention Center.
